Thank you for your interest in Muhlenberg College Talent Scholarships. By submitting the form and materials requested below, our faculty will be able to consider your portfolio. Portfolios can be submitted as a PDF file or you may provide a link to your webpage/website where your work is showcased.

Please note that this evaluation is for the purpose of departmental review for Talent Scholarship only and does not factor into overall admissibility to Muhlenberg College. If you are offered a Talent Scholarship, you will be notified in your financial aid offer upon your admission to Muhlenberg College.

Film Studies Submissions:

Submissions should be about 10 minutes of material. If you have worked with others on projects, please be sure to specify what your role was, for example, editor, director, etc.

Music Auditions

Please prepare two contrasting pieces that best demonstrate your performing abilities.

For Vocal auditions, it is recommended that one of your two selections be in a foreign language, but not required.

We will make every attempt to provide an accompanist when requested. Please note that for weekday auditions, accompanist hours are limited and subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to provide an accompanist, you may audition with tracks.

Theatre Audition and Portfolio Submission

Type of Submission:

Please submit either:

two contrasting monologues, memorized, totaling not more than four minutes in length. It is recommended that no accents be used, and you read the plays that the monologues are from. OR…
one monologue and one song (32 bars), selected from the musical theatre repertoire. Students with classical voice training have the option to sing an additional 32-bar section of an art song or aria.

Please send us your résumé and any portfolio materials that you'd like to share, including playwriting samples, prompt books, production photos, programs, etc.

Playwriting samples should be one or two excerpts, between 5-10 total pages.
